CORY WARFIELD is a seasoned political operative who has worked in various states and campaigns across the country. Recently, Cory worked as the DLCC IE Director for two cycles, helping to flip four legislative chambers and secure the best state legislative results for a president's party in power since 1934. Before his work at the DLCC, Cory was a political advisor for EMILY’s List and managed a US Senate campaign. During the 2016 election cycle, Cory served as the coordinated campaign director and presidential caucus director for the Nevada Democratic Party. Before Nevada, he served as coordinated campaign director in North Carolina for U.S. Senator Kay Hagan’s re-election effort – a campaign that was called one of the best in the country in 2014. In 2012, Cory was field director for Ohio U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown’s successful re-election. During the 2010 cycle, Cory was the deputy field director for U.S. Senator Harry Reid’s successful re-election bid. Cory is a native of Nashville and a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a degree in communication studies and political science. When he’s not working,Cory enjoys traveling, cooking, and watching college football.
